New Wrexham Chairman, Peter Morris’ opening message.

“I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you on behalf of Wrexham Fencing Club to Andy Roberts and Gareth Lawn, former chair and vice chair of the club. For all their valiant work for the club over the years, this included all the behind the scenes work which sadly goes unnoticed. I’m very pleased to say both will still be at the club and have offered advice, when I need it. I can only hope I don’t let them down over the next year”.

“The AGM was a great success last Friday and votes were cast for junior and senior fencers of the year. Junior fencer was George Dolan sadly not at the meeting but the trophy will be delivered in person. Senior fencer was Dave Gregory who was on hand to accept his trophy; which comes just a few weeks after his success at the Wrexham Open”.

“Next Saturday we propose to check all the clubs equipment to see what needs repairing or replacing. So if you have any items at home, can you fetch them along on Friday or let me know size, left or right and what condition it is in”.
