A rock solid performance was given by George Morris on Sunday at the Arnold LPJS Epee Blackpool. After winning all but 3 fights in two rounds, this placed him 3^rd going into the DE’s.

The DE’s out of the way, brought George against the towering experience and quality of the 1^st and 2^nd seeds.  This would mean George would have to use all the skills gained from his coaching from David and Valeriys, a very calm, cool and controlled fight ended with the semi final score of 10-7 against a fencer who has been very successful all this season and onto the final. Another sporting event was said to be going on at the same time, but all concentration was on Georges final against a very good fencer.  This again finished 10-7 and a very pleased Golden George shook hands and walked from the piste.
