The Venue for this years AGM has been selected as the Golden Groves in Burton and will take place on the 2nd July. If you wish to attend please contact Rose Gregory, with your menu Selection.

Starters
Homemade Soup Of The Day – Always homemade, always piping hot, served with a warm crusty roll.
Grilled Goats Cheese - Served on a herb infused crostini with caramelized red onion marmalade and rocket salad.
Creamy garlic mushrooms – Mushrooms tossed in white wine, cream, garlic and fresh herbs on a crispy crouton.
Chicken Liver and Brandy Pate – Served with chilli jam, crisp salad and a crusty roll fresh from the oven.
Prawn and Apple Cocktail – Braeburn apple and Atlantic prawns bound in garlic mayonnaise on a bed of mixed leaves finished with paprika and a pesto dressing.
Mains
Roast Shoulder of Welsh Lamb – Tender Welsh lamb on a bed of dauphinoise potato, red wine and rosemary gravy and fresh vegetables.
Paprika Chicken on Mushroom Risotto – Juicy strips of paprika coated chicken on a classic mushroom risotto, finished with parmesan shavings, fresh herbs and rocket leaves.
Cajun Swordfish Steak – Marinated in Cajun spices and pan fried with olive oil and lemon juice, served on a chiffonade of cucumber strips in sour cream.
Vegetable parcels – Roasted mixed vegetables wrapped in filo pastry and smothered in a provencal sauce
Asparagus and Sweet Pea Risotto – Pan fried sweet garden peas, herbs and onions combined with a rich and creamy white wine risotto topped with grilled asparagus spears and parmesan shavings.
Goats Cheese and Red Onion Tart – Caramelized onions and shallots with a thick slice of Goats Cheese in a shortcrust pastry case with salad and your choice of potato.
Steak and Guinness Pie – Lean steak, shallots and mushrooms slow braised in Guinness and red wine gravy and topped with a puff pastry lid, served with your choice of potato and fresh vegetable.
The Golden Burger – A juicy 6oz handmade burger on a fresh bun with a slice of cheddar and bacon, served with crisp salad and chunky chips.
Classic Fish and Chips – Fresh haddock in our crisp beer batter with our chunky chips, peas and a fat wedge of lemon.
Pork and Leek Sausages – Locally produced sausages, grilled to perfection with cheddar mash, port and red onion gravy and deep fried crispy parsnip strips.
Classic Caesar salad with chicken breast – Crisp little gem leaves, fresh ciabatta croutons, crispy smoked Italian bacon, our homemade real Caesar sauce, with parmesan shavings, cracked black pepper and a poached egg, topped with a grilled chicken breast.
