Fighting under the Salle Scipanovs banner, Wrexham Fencing Club members David Charles-Hendy and Kristofers Scipanovs won through to the British Youth Foil Finals in their North West Regional qualifiers. The finals are due to be held over the May Bank Holiday at The English Institute Of Sport in Sheffield.

David and Kristofers are joined in the foil, by Wrexham clubmates George Dolan, George Morris, Jed Houghton and Josh Evans, who all won through the Welsh Qualifiers, Bethany Ellis, who won through the West Midlands Qualifiers and Stephanie Collister who qualified due to last years finishing position in the finals.

Josh Evans also qualified for the finals of the British Youth Sabre Championship, along with Ben Halley. Not to be outdone George Morris also qualified for the Championships in a second weapon, winning through the Welsh Qualifiers in the epee. George was joined by Keir Club who was runner-up in the Under 14 category.
