A rock solid performance was given by George Morris on Sunday at the Arnold LPJS Epee Blackpool. After winning all but 3 fights in two rounds, this placed him 3rd going into the DE’s.

This forthcoming Friday and Saturday (4th and 5th June 2010) Wrexham Fencing Club host a fencing team from the Cities German twin district of Markischer Kreis. A 45 strong team from the town of Ludenschnad will descend on Wrexham hoping to enhance the already considerable reputation of German sport. (more…)
One of the oldest fencing competitions in the country attracted many of Wrexham Fencing Club’s members this weekend.
Germany here we come. A party of 21 from Wrexham Fencing Club are off to take on the sporting might of the Germans. The club are travelling to Wrexham’s long standing twin German district of Markischer Kreis. Wrexham are taking on three fencing clubs from the town of Ludenschnad. In Germany, individual clubs concentrate on specific weapons, so Wrexham will have to be at their best, as they are competing in all three weapons against the German clubs. (more…)

Wrexham Fencing Club has yet another reason to celebrate. Lydia Johnson has been selected to represent Great Britain at Senior Level. The 23 year old foilist from Wrexham, has been continually knocking on the door of the senior British Squad and her unquestioned dedication, professionalism and ability has at last been rewarded.
